Hello! I’m George Nnamchi, a dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner based in Hampden, Maine. With over 16 years of experience, I have a strong background in offering comprehensive care to patients in hospital settings. My passion lies in working with diverse patient populations and building trusting relationships to ensure the best health outcomes.

As an RN with a wealth of experience, I specialize in telemetry, medical-surgical, and behavioral health care. Helping patients recover from surgeries, managing mental health conditions, or leading community health initiatives, I strive to provide first-class care. I also take pride in my leadership roles, having worked on policies to improve patient and nurse experiences locally and internationally.

I’m skilled in various areas, such as medication management, cardiac resuscitation, and effective communication. I aim to continuously improve patient care and satisfaction through education and counseling. Outside of work, I enjoy running and playing soccer.
