Therapist Overview
“Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.” -Carl Bard. Are you feeling stuck? Unsure of how to make lasting change in your life? Feeling overwhelmed with stress? Sometimes, a fresh perspective can make a world of difference. Therapy can create opportunity for fresh perspective so you can create a “brand new ending.” My approach is strength-based, solution focused, client-centered and is rooted in CBT, DBT, and ACT. I work with teens, adults, and families facing a variety of challenges such as: anxiety, depression, life transitions, conflict resolution, stress management, communication issues, parenting struggles, and behavioral challenges with adolescents. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Child Psychology at the University of Minnesota and a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Saint Mary’s University. I have over 10 years of clinical experience and am a fully Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
