Therapist Overview
At Canyon Creek Counseling, we support individuals as part of a whole family system. We know that each moving part has an impact on all other parts of the system. This is true for all individuals whether near or far from family and loved ones. I have extensive experience in working with individuals that are struggling with depression, anxiety, attachment trauma, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, substance abuse, physical and emotional abuse, anorexia nervosa, binge eating disorder, orthorexia, body dysmorphia, self-esteem and body image issues, self-harm, and suicidal ideation. Through the use of scientifically supported interventions such as EMDR, SE (Somatic), Brainspotting, DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and Emotion Focused Therapy, we can address the thoughts, attitudes, and behaviors that may be hindering your life and impeding your relationships. Thank you for valuing yourself enough to take this first step in accessing support. You are on the right path. My goal for working with you is to achieve the most profound change in the shortest period of time. I offer a free 30-minute introduction in-office session because I know this is an important decision that is not easily made over the phone.
