Therapist Overview
Pursuing therapy represents a desire to heal. Whether dealing with a new change in life or a past trauma/hurt, my work with clients is focused on supporting the process of healing and learning to “let go” of the harmful patterns that get in the way of feeling happy and fulfilled in our lives and relationships. As a therapist, I strive to create a space where you can pause, reflect, and feel supported and safe in acknowledging the emotions that we’ve all learned to avoid, dismiss, or tuck away. Imagine finally allowing yourself to feel those emotions and learning to show yourself the same compassion you’d show a close friend. I offer individual, family, and couples therapy and treat clients of all ages, from school-aged children to older adults. I specialize in working with adults who struggle with relationship issues, family dynamics, workplace stressors, identity concerns, and self-esteem. I also have a background in intensive family therapy and in working with men in therapy. Whatever you are looking for in therapy, please feel free to connect with me and we can discuss your goals and some next steps. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Maine and PA, hold a certification in Advanced Clinical Practice with Children & Adolescents, and have extensive training in Eco-systemic Structural Family Therapy.
