I am passionate about the work that I do and truly believe in the benefits of utilizing DBT skills with my clients in the outpatient setting. These skills can help people with a wide range of diagnoses and symptoms, since it is a behavioral therapy and aims to regulate our emotional responses (and what we do as a result of those emotional responses), regardless of what is causing it in the moment. I want to help my clients move away from all-or-nothing thinking, find relief from emotional suffering, regain control over powerful emotions, and eventually, not need me anymore :) In addition to my work with DBT, I have a special focus in family therapy, eating disorder treatment, OCD, depression and anxiety, and shame. I have experience working at all levels of care including: long-term and short-term residential houses, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs, and private practice outpatient settings. I whole-heartedly believe in the healing power of a strong therapeutic bond, a safe space for nurturing vulnerability and authenticity, and reconnecting to oneself and environment.
