I take an active, flexible, problem-solving approach that is typically grounded in cognitive-behavioral methods, although I also incorporate mindfulness and relaxation techniques. The development of a strong and trusting therapeutic relationship is very important to me; I’m down-to-earth, practical, and have a dry sense of humor, and these traits help my clients feel at ease when they’re talking with me.
