Therapist Overview
I received my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from St. Cloud State University in 2015. I have a particular passion for working with adults, couples, and families to help my clients find hope, strength, and healing within themselves and their relationships. I also find interest in working with people who have experienced trauma and am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), which is a helpful tool for individuals wanting to work through their trauma. I have experience in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, family conflict, women’s issues, and self-esteem. I use a family systems lens to help individuals, couples and families understand their past and how relationships and their families have impacted them. I also consider myself a proud ally for LGBTQA+ community and enjoy working with and learning about the experiences of persons and their families who are impacted.
