I am currently seeing clients at Smithson Valley Counseling Center. I enjoy working with a wide variety of clients. I believe to have a different approach to counseling in the sense that I enjoy being more direct with clients and trying to help make the most of our time in session. I believe that with the set of skills I have, I can help anyone get to a desired outcome. I have experience in working with trauma and crisis as my first experiences and have been able to open my scope as I encounter new clients with different backgrounds and experiences. I take a person centered approach as well as trauma-informed. I practice in the understanding that to have a good therapeutic relationship, showing unconditional positive regard, empathy, and being non judgmental towards clients builds a trusting relationship. I truly believe that there is a way to process and understand yourself deeper than what you have experienced. Life can be hard and challenging and sometimes one can get lost. I love what I do and I would love the opportunity to work with you and help you reach your goals, process trauma, learn coping, or what you find yourself needing.
