Therapist Overview
I find it a privilege to be a part of people’s lives and assist them with their difficulties, and truly enjoy the relational aspect of therapy. My 20 years as a therapist have allowed me to develop expertise in working with a wide range of people, cultures and clinical issues. I specialize in treating anxiety disorders and OCD, women’s issues (such as postpartum depression or OCD, pregnancy loss and relationship difficulties), and in working with multicultural individuals and couples. I was a psychologist at UCLA Counseling and Psychological Services for 8 years and also specialize in working with students and their families. I am currently the Assistant Clinical Director at the UCLA Adult OCD Intensive Treatment Program, and treat adults with OCD and anxiety disorders (panic, health anxiety, generalized anxiety, social anxiety, agoraphobia, etc.) in private practice using CBT, exposure and response prevention (ERP), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and mindfulness.
