Hi, I’m Amy and I’m a social worker and play therapist in Westminster. I work with adults, teens, and children of all ages. Right now, I’m seeing all my clients using video technology to keep everyone safe and healthy. I love talking with people, hearing clients’ stories, and working together to explore why things are hard and how to move forward. With children, I use a lot of play and expressive arts techniques. With grown-ups, I use more traditional talk therapy, but I always bring my sense of humor and creativity. I have lots of experience helping clients of all ages with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, and more. My office is a playroom, filled with toys, games, a sandtray, and creative arts tools like art supplies, a piano, and other musical instruments. I have been working with vulnerable children and families for years, and I am proud to offer a dedicated play therapy space in Westminster for children. And don’t worry, adults–there is proper adult seating, too. Reaching out for help with feelings is tough, especially during this crazy time of isolation, when we need help the most!
