I offer a space for change by nurturing diversity and inclusion. I hope to positively impact the African American community, and all communities, by decreasing the stigma of mental health and offering a place for people of color to utilize therapy and live in more authentic and whole ways. I work with communication, anxiety, depression, life transitions, trauma, low self-worth, shame, body image, substance use, teen families, parenting, affair repair, coping skills, trust, emotional intimacy, connection, and the impact of oppression. I help individuals to unlearn who they think they ‘should’ be and JUST BE. Just being is enough. Couples often get stuck in cycles that push them apart. We are built to connect, even if this is contrary to our lived experience. I help couples create a secure bond: to feel safe, vulnerable, open, responsive, and accessible.
