I consider counseling as a way to honor the gifts I was given by my higher power. In my practice, I hope my clients experience counseling as a spiritual experience of growth and development that can help them move forward in their lives. I try to offer them a liberating, confidential, emotional space in which to process their struggles. I treat late teens and older, individuals with any addiction-related problems. Meaning, I work with anyone or a family member who is having problems with overuse, yet may not feel they are an addict, but the use is causing problems; to an addict who is struggling with their sobriety.
