Compassion focused therapist with experience working with youth and adults using a variety of theoretical perspectives in individual and family therapy sessions. I use a variety of evidence based modalities ( with a focus on healing trauma and positive psychology) such as cognitive behavioral therapy, strengths based approach, mindfulness, psychoeducation and emotional freedom technique. I consider myself holistic and integrative in my approach as I work with clients to encourage implementation of good sleep hygiene, healthy eating and exercise to improve mental health. When working with clients I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental and nurturing atmosphere in which clients can be supported in efforts to grow and change as they become reconnected to their strengths and dreams.
