Therapist Overview
I became a therapist because I believe everyone is worthy of healing and wellness. With a background in medical social work, my heart lies in working with teens and adults coping with anxiety and depression, disordered eating and body image, chronic illness, medical trauma, and grief and loss. Life throws curveballs and I’m here to be a guide and active listener throughout this process. I see clients through the lens of their strengths and work to empower them to identify their own self-worth. I recognize the important connection between physical and mental health and incorporate interventions from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, and somatic-based techniques to help clients move towards healing. I aim to create a safe, non-judgmental, and warm space where clients feel welcomed and comfortable sharing their story. I believe every human being has unique potential and I would be honored to have the privilege to walk with you in this process. Flexible scheduling is available, including evening appointments.
