My work with couples and families is based on the latest research in the fields of attachment, neurobiology, and emotion. With individual clients, I focus on evidence based cognitive- and mindfulness-based approaches to help with trauma, loss, anxiety, depression, and issues related to relationships, work, and school. I have an MS in Marriage and Family Therapy from Colorado State University. I have advanced training in the following mindfulness, trauma, and couples treatment models: EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), IFS (Internal Family Systems), PACT (a Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy), and Hakomi (a mindfulness-based, somatic therapy).
