Therapist Overview
*NOT ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS* My mission is to help people find their joy through a positive process that makes the work you’re doing exciting, even when it’s hard. My approach is founded on the belief that we’re all “rough drafts”: people in progress, with countless opportunities for new iterations. We are never done with this process. Instead, we hope to become comfortable with being “in process.” In this way, I give people a space to be imperfect while working toward a more authentic and intentional version of themselves. Together, we will work to find the you – and the joy – that has always been present and possible. I specialize in working with adolescents, young/college-aged adults, and older adults. I offer counseling around trauma, grief/loss, stress and transitions, identity exploration, depression, anxiety, relationship challenges (with friends, family, romantic partners, and ourselves), aging and illness, and more. It is scary (annoying, difficult, frustrating) to take this first step to find a therapist, and I applaud your progress in getting this far. Doing the work can be hard, but it can also be fun and exciting too. I absolutely love being a therapist, and people tell me this shows in the way that I engage with them. Let’s take those next steps forward together.
