I’m a psychotherapist, relationship specialist, wife and mom. Many of us can recognize patterns of our behavior that used to be helpful but now get in the way in the relationships we want. In many ways navigating difficult circumstances allowed us to survive or even thrive, but the ways we cope now don’t benefit us in the long run. These interactions can surprise us at times because while our lives can feel full and abundant, we also can feel sadness, resentment, and worry. I practice from a holistic perspective which grows our ability to have compassion on ourselves and others. We learn to make new choices in difficult areas. I also take note of intergenerational trauma in our family histories which can include immigration loss, depression, alcohol/substance use, and other secrets or suppressed feelings. I believe that you have the inner resources that you need to find your way. My job is to support you in your process.
