Therapist Overview
Hello! I’m Racheal Turner. I’m a Licensed Associate Counselor at Turning Point Counseling, working under the supervision of Janet Kartler, LPC. As a therapist, my passion is to support people who want to find more acceptance, wholeness, and aliveness in all of who they are. I have a passion for working with individuals and couples on a wide variety of issues, including trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction, codependency, self- esteem, grief and abuse. I bring my whole heart and authentic self to therapy and draw from several different schools of practice which all center around building a healthy therapeutic relationship. Through holistic and integrative practices, I support people in creating more self love, finding more capacity to feel the hard stuff, and developing more understanding of how to cope with the challenges and stressors of life while also making more room for joy, presence and connection to the mind and body. I want you to know that you are so not alone, that you matter, no matter what you may be going through. When working with me, I encourage all my clients to show up exactly as they are: hurt, grieving, anxious, unsure, depressed, lonely, hopeful…no matter what you’re experiencing, it is important for me to create a empathetic, genuine and safe space.
