Therapist Overview
At the Family Services Center I take a systemic and wholistic approach to all therapeutic services. What does this mean? Well instead of focusing on one person and their health I look at how all the different parts of a family are impacting that person and how that person is impacting the family and its members. I know that people don’t live in a vacuum and we influence and impact others around us. With years of experience, education and training I am confident that no problem is too big to overcome! Through the use of neuroscience and wholistic practices I know that healing, growth, and transformation are available right now! As a Licensed Counselor I specialize in working with individuals and families who have experienced trauma, adoption, and attachment injuries. I am trained in Love and Logic, Positive Disciple, EMDR, synergetic play therapy, cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), dialectal behavior therapy (DBT), and Trauma Systems Therapy (TST) using a systems approach. I would love to talk with you about how I can best support you and your family. Life is hard, challenges happen and this can leave you feeling stressed and overwhelmed. The journey in therapy is diverse. It’s winding. No matter what it is, I am here for you. I’ll be your guide without judgement (that’s not my style).
