[Currently, NOT ACCEPTING CLIENTS] I am a bilingual (Spanish) and multicultural therapist who has been in the field for almost 10 years. Most of my experience has been working in non-profit organizations and Community Health Centers serving children and adults of diverse backgrounds, mainly Latino clients. I generally see clients dealing anxiety and depression symptoms, history of trauma, and acculturation stress. I am a strong believer that we can all benefit from therapy; a safe and non judgmental space to process our feelings and emotions, and better manage the inevitable life stressors. My therapy approach is a person-centered one, where I meet you where you are, we work as a team (same-level) since you are the expert of your life. I also use evidence based models such as: CBT, ARC (trauma based treatment for children age 0-6). It is very important for me to be aware of the client’s background and culture to meet their unique needs. My main goal is let you know that you are not alone; life is precious, but comes with many challenges. I will be here making sure you feel comfortable by providing empathy and support.
