The process of seeking therapy and exploring experiences with another person is a brave step toward the life you want for yourself, and finding a therapist you are comfortable with is crucial for healing. My educational focus and clinical experience has focused mainly on trauma work. That experience includes EMDR training, Trauma Resiliency Model and Somatic Experiencing training. I work from a strength-based approach, and believe in “moving through” rather than “getting over.” My practice is entirely “walk and talk,” meaning we go outdoors and work in peaceful settings, whether walking or not, as well as online video sessions. We work as a team. You are the expert in your own life. I bring a genuine curiosity about your journey and where you want to go from here. Together we would strive to gain insight, understanding, self-love and acceptance while employing coping strategies and solutions that help move you toward your goals. I mainly work with pre-teens, teens, and adults utilizing a mixture of evidence-based practices. I have experience working with trauma, big and small. I invite you to give therapy a shot. Whether with me or someone else, especially if the status quo isn’t working well. You have it within yourself to move toward a happier and more peaceful you.
