Therapist Overview

Are you looking for help in navigating a season of life? Whether you are looking for help for yourself, your teen, or your relationship, it would be my honor to walk with you. My primary approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which focuses on fixing faulty beliefs which drive unhealthy thoughts and feelings. Situations cannot always be changed, but what we believe or interpret about situations can be. At times, it’s not that we experience false beliefs, but that we are in a season of suffering, and in that need to learn how to suffer well. Areas in my scope of practice include anxiety, depression, self-harm, grief, chronic pain, career/vocational counseling, self-image/esteem, and marriage. My education focused on an integrated theoretical approach and the intersection of counseling theories with Biblical principles. Upon request, I am able to provide counseling from a Biblical worldview. I am an encourager and challenger and look forward to hearing your story and being a small part of it.
