Therapist Overview
I’m a Licensed Psychologist specialized in working with young to middle-age adults, particularly graduate students and young professionals. As a therapist of color, I recognize the importance of honoring and respecting the intersectionality of your identities. Many of my clients struggle with multicultural challenges, anxiety, relationship concerns, low self-esteem, life transitions, and identity development. I aim to create a space where you can grow and will tailor my approach to your emotional and mental needs. Therefore, an integrated therapeutic style (e.g., cognitive-behavioral and process-oriented therapies) will be used. In our work together, you will be encouraged to explore what you want in life and how to achieve these goals using your inner strengths. The therapy space will be used to nurture your sense of self-awareness and to create meaning of your life experiences. You will also gain insights into recurring patterns and develop skills to cope with life challenges. Searching for a therapist can be an overwhelming process! I encourage you to schedule a complimentary video or phone consultation with me to see if we’re a good fit. If you feel comfortable during our meeting, we can then schedule an intake appointment. Video sessions available. Wait-list until March 2021.
