As a licensed clinical social worker, I’m a firm believer that people are extremely resilient and it is a strength to ask for help. In therapy, I aim to create a safe, non-judgmental environment where we can work together to face any and all barriers you are dealing with. As a team, we will create a treatment plan centered around your personal mental health goals. I treat individuals, couples and families. If you are a family dealing with attachment or parenting issues, a couple who is dealing with communication or conflict challenges or an individual with any assortment of personal struggles, I would love to hear your story. My clinical background is with individuals, families and children who have overcome severe trauma. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, as well as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I also offer faith-based therapy if requested. Because every individual is unique, each treatment and therapy modality will be tailored to you. I understand how difficult it is to go throughout your day having to hide the pain you are feeling. Please know that therapy can help give you the skills to manage your internal challenges and relieve the overwhelming stress. While human suffering is a part of life, it does not have to control you.
