Tyler is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida with his Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando. Prior to entering the mental health field, Tyler spent 10 years in banking. During a time of personal struggle, he started his own journey with counseling. The process had such an impact that he left banking in order to continue working with others in a deeper and more relational capacity. Tyler enjoys working with couples and adults of all ages, working with issues such as depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, infidelity, and divorce.
Tyler believes that he counsels out of who he is as a person, and therefore humbly recognizes that his journey of healing and growth will always be an important and continuing part of his story. Tyler integrates Emotion Focused therapy, Attachment theory, the Interpersonal Process, Person-Centered therapy, and some IFS.
Outside of the office, Tyler enjoys weight lifting, spikeball, racquetball, hiking, and watching movies with his wife.
