Therapist Overview
I work with individual adults, couples, and families. Over the last 10 years, I have had the opportunity to work with people who deal with a variety of struggles including: anxiety, trauma, grief, life transitions, depression, stress management, women’s issues, parenting education, spiritual matters, relationship/communication struggles, etc. I work hard to walk through these issues right alongside my clients and provide the support they need. While I can’t fix their struggles, I can listen to them and help point them in the right direction with a challenge of a new perspective and hope for their future. I am trained in: TF-CBT (Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), FFT (Functional Family Therapy), and Level 3 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy. I also am a Board Certified TeleMental Health Provider. *Please note that I provide telehealth for my Colorado clients and not face to face sessions with them at this time. I believe that building a solid rapport with my clients is the only way to effectively move forward in helping my clients achieve their goals. My therapeutic approach tends to be direct, yet non-judgemental, as I teach my clients tangible coping skills to assist in reaching their overall goals along with helping them feel empowered and encouraged to do so.
