I particularly enjoy individuals who are open-minded, motivated, and willing to do the work while trusting the counseling process. It is so important to be willing to try new things by venturing out of your comfort zone during our therapeutic process. By not having to rely strictly on medication to mask your issues, therapy teaches you to cope with life’s struggles, and thus change your fearful view of the world. After several years of helping others I find CBT, DBT, solution-focused therapy, reality therapy, behavioral therapy, motivational therapy, EMDR, art therapy, animal therapy, feministic therapy, and of course humor to be very effective in treating most issues.
