Therapist Overview
I believe in working with the client(s) to identify problem situations impacting the client’s current life. Together, we will develop goals and work toward achieving those goals with open and honest communication. I focus on clients with a variety of mental, emotional, and behavioral struggles. My work experience also involves counseling individuals with multiple diagnoses. My approach to counseling is born from a cognitive-behavioral perspective. This simply means that I work with clients to identify patterns of thoughts and actions in order to understand presenting problems fully and develop solutions. I conduct psychotherapy (talk therapy) in individual, couples, family, and group settings. I work with clients of all backgrounds beginning at age 10 through adulthood. For clients under age 10, exceptions can be made on a case by case basis and with additional stipulations which will be discussed at time of scheduling.
