I am passionate about helping adolescents, adults, and couples learn to identify their strengths and to better understand themselves in order to reach their full potential and live their best lives. My approach is eclectic in that I implement a variety of therapeutic strategies to best fit each client on an individual level. During my internship, I have provided counseling services to a wide range of clients and families by guiding, empowering, assisting and supporting them through abusive and traumatic experiences, depression, anxiety, addictions, life transitions, and women’s issues. The following treatment orientations are the most common approaches that I practice: CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), TF-CBT (Trauma-Focused CBT), and CPT (Cognitive Processing Therapy), I also love working from a more natural perspective so I frequently use more holistic approaches in my practice to help my clients gain more self-awareness. My husband and I have been married for 44 years and have traveled to over 52 foreign countries together. We enjoy working with families and helping to equip couples with the skills for happy, healthy marriages.
