Therapist Overview
I work with college students, adults and older adults who are dealing with depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, self esteem issues, relationship and boundaries struggles, and spiritual issues. I am originally from Egypt where I was a physician and I came to the United States to get my Masters and PhD in Public Health. For the past decade, I have been working at a local hospital helping physicians and nurses change and adopt better practice processes. In 2016, I felt called to go into counseling to help people navigate their lives’ struggles, hurt and pain and help them change and experience healing. I provide a caring and compassionate environment where I help my clients become more self-aware, learn coping skills, discover their strengths as I come alongside them in their journey to change. I can incorporate Christian beliefs in counseling, only if requested by you. However, I would honor your decision to exclude spiritual beliefs from counseling.
