Finding the right counselor can be tricky, as you want to find someone that you can trust and build a relationship with, but also someone that meets your needs. My first goal as a counselor to is create a space for you where you feel safe to talk. I’m nonjudgmental, compassionate, and empathetic. My second objective is to tailor the counseling to meet your individual needs and goals. I believe that with the right support, you have the ability within yourself to live the life you want to live. I particularly like to integrate CBT, DBT, ACT, existential therapy, mindfulness, and nature therapy into my counseling. I have a humanistic and strength-based approach, which means that I believe you should be treated as a whole individual and that you have many strengths that will allow you to conquer your problems.
