I have a passion for hearing peoples stories and helping them find their place in this world. I believe we all have a desire to be happy and to feel whole. We all desire to feel wanted and loved and in order to do so we need to first love ourselves and I believe therapy can help you achieve that desire. The mind is the control center of behavior and emotion and if we can work through negative thought patterns together and help you realize the strengths that already lie within you we can together create a healthier, happier YOU. My goal is to help you gain a sense of trust in yourself, an openness to experience life to the fullest and to have a willingness to continue growing into the person you desire to be. I love working with all ages from children to adults and aspire to find the best way to connect with each individual whether it be through play therapy or talk therapy. This is what inspired the practice name, Congruency Counseling. A noun: agreement or harmony; compatibility. Running from pain does not move us toward healing. Committing to the process of healing takes courage and ultimately stops the cycle of brokenness, restoring PEACE piece by piece. (Story, 2014).
