Therapist Overview
I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. I am married and have three adult children. I am a member of the American Psychological Association and the Wisconsin Psychological Association and also a Registered Nurse. I have worked in the mental health field for over 30 years. One of my personal goals is to promote quality, effective, and efficient treatment to both reduce emotional pain and to prompt optimal functioning for my clients. I see children, teens, adults, and seniors in my practice. In my practice I see clients who are dealing with depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, adjustment disorders, ADHD, employment issues, parenting issues, bipolar conditions, marital issues, loss and grieving, and medical conditions that are impacting one’s mental health. My therapy style includes cognitive-behavioral, supportive, insight and EMDR. As both a Psychologist and a Registered Nurse, I see first hand the importance of treating the whole person with a mind-body perspective. This includes respecting the client’s symptoms and gaining clarity for the appropriate treatment options. I utilize a supportive environment with my clients that is helpful but nonjudgmental, and is focused on growth.
