Therapist Overview
My clinical experience includes working with adolescents, emerging adults and families experiencing challenges including trauma, depression, anxiety, addiction, LGBTQ issues, interpersonal relationship struggles, grief and life-transitions. I have specialized training in suicide prevention, giftedness and am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. My approach toward therapy is introspective, yet positive and hopeful. I truly believe that everyone has the potential to live a life of purpose and joy. From a trauma-informed lens, I utilize a combination of humanistic, psycho-educational and cognitive behavioral modalities to assist her clients as they explore, process and heal from the challenges they face. My certified and hypoallergenic (Portuguese Water Dog) therapy dog, Betsie, often accompanies her during therapy sessions as well! As we navigate the new normal that includes COVID-19, it is more important than ever to attend to your mental health. I am here and ready when you are, currently by phone and video.
