As adults we can still feel the impact of our earlier experiences in childhood. During times of stress or change, memories from the past can resurface calling for our attention. It is possible to learn boundaries with family members while still being loving towards them. If you are constantly taking care of others it is easy to feel stuck in survival mode. If you have found yourself overwhelmed, exhausted, and full of self-doubt, you could be experiencing imposter syndrome, believing you aren’t deserving of a wonderful life. And those feelings of guilt about your success can be interrupting your ability to fully experience joy. I work with “lineage breakers” of all ages and genders who want more insight into their emotions, behaviors, and relationships. It has been powerful to witness clients utilize our work together to break harmful family patterns, create boundaries, and transform their lives in deep and meaningful ways.
