Together, in the safe emotional space of our sessions, you can explore the gaps between your actual and true self, untangle patterns of past choices and behaviors, and explore new ways of interacting with the world. Through the hard but rich work of therapy you can enjoy a deeper understanding of yourself, a strengthened emotional resilience, and a better ability to negotiate relationships and negative emotions and enter the process of real and true healing. I work with older teens, adults, and couples with a variety of issues. My experience is in cognitive-behavioral interventions, Mindfulness Practices, hypnotherapy, and grief work as well as professional executive coaching. I provide mental health treatment, substance abuse treatment, and EAP services. I have over 25 years of experience as a military member. I am Gottman Level 1 trained–a couples intervention. My goal as your therapist is to help you become more self-aware and increase in your own personal insight. I will encourage you to explore your thoughts and feelings, to set personal goals, and to engage in practices that promote self-care and self-love.
