I am perhaps best known for my down to Earth, welcoming style of therapy. My training is in general clinical psychology. I have many years of experience working with clients of all ages, although I generally receive referrals of adult individual clients to my practice. I am broad minded and knowledgeable of cultural differences. I actively seek educational opportunities to learn what I may have yet to understand. I am a practical minded person and my therapy is based on positive individual, community and social values. My training was in general psychology. I was a registered nurse before becoming a psychologist. My medical background lead to my being identified as a health psychologist. I realize that all aspects of a person’s mental and emotional life impact health, illness and pain. My practice is located in my home office and is wheelchair accessible.
