Hi there! I’m Kristen, and my interest is people. I love getting to know about other’s passions, feelings, attitudes, and ideas. And that’s exactly what brought me to therapy! I get excited when others are looking to explore their own lives for ways to improve, no matter how small. I work well with clients who ruminate and tend to get caught in the vicious cycles of depression and anxiety by examining daily behaviors and thoughts. I like to be direct to maximize productivity in our time together, but will always treat you with the respect and compassion we all deserve. I’m always open to collaboration, feedback, and creativity. I’m currently working towards Sex Therapy Certification from an AASECT (American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists) accredited program and am nearing completion. This is just a fancy way of saying I am passionate about working with others interested in improving their sex education, intimacy with others, and acceptance of self! I believe that growth, knowledge, and acceptance is the stuff of life! Gaining a deeper understanding of yourself (triggers, insecurities, truest joys) can greatly impact your daily existence.
