Therapist Overview
Growing up is one of the most difficult challenges your child will face, especially in a digital and fast-paced world. I would like to journey with you and your child to help make them more resilient and accepting of life and its many challenges. I have a passion for working with children, adolescents, and their families. I specialize in helping families communicate with each other, anger management, self-harming behavior, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, LGBTQIA issues, and trauma. I am a Licensed Social Worker under the clinical supervision of an LCSW. I am working through Barber Family Counseling and Wellness. I use psycho-education, empathetic and client-centered talk-therapy, strength-based, SFBT, play, and art therapy modalities. Since therapy is not a, “One Size Fits All” service, I believe in the collaborative approach. I empower my clients to help create treatment plans and obtainable goals to assure each person receives personalized and focused treatment. I believe that there are no bad or broken children, just children who are lost and need to find their correct life path. I am someone who can help guide them to that path and teach them to overcome the obstacles that block their way. I help children navigate the process of growing up and realizing their potential.
