Therapist Overview
Does life feel out of control? The winds of depression, anxiety, relationship distress, emotional and physical infidelity, grief, hopelessness and/or loneliness can make us feel like we don’t have any control over our lives. We cannot direct these winds, but I can help you learn how to adjust your sails. These adjustments will lead you to finding a sense of purpose and direction in your life. Recognizing your value and strength will empower you to be able to face whatever storms might rage. Change is facilitated by understanding our emotions and how they affect not only us, but our relationships as well. I have worked extensively with couples to nurture and repair their connection to one another. Teens, young adults, and parent/child relationships are also a focus of my practice. My clinical experience combined with my life experience enables me to be able to reframe struggles into learning opportunities and growth experiences. I have helped those serving in the military and the loved ones who support them. I pride myself on helping people recognize their value and find their voice and positive ways to express it. I am committed to making therapy an uplifting, healing and empowering experience.
