Therapist Overview

I strive to make counseling a safe place in which we will work as a team to create the change that will help you through your struggles. I can help you process your emotions and experiences, and learn coping skills in order to generate healthy thought patterns and new habits that will be beneficial in your life. Counseling is your space, and I aim to make each session uniquely fitted to your needs. My areas of interest include depression, anxiety, grief & loss, teen issues, family issues, and a variety of other issues relating to life and/or mental health. I see individuals ages 12 and up, specializing in teenagers and young professionals. I use an integrative perspective in counseling, drawing mainly from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, family systems, & gestalt therapy. I can offer the incorporation of spirituality and Christian beliefs in my counseling sessions at your request. Please feel free to contact me with any questions about myself or counseling.
