Anxiety, loneliness, and depression are often unwelcome guests who over stay their welcome. My objective is to help people heal from these issues and their past as opposed to being held captive by it. Trauma, abuse, grief, addiction and unresolved memories seem to be the main culprit behind us getting “stuck”. Through EMDR and a therapeutic relationship we can move together toward healing and hope. I offer a faith based Christian approach if so desired and I enjoy working with people from diverse backgrounds as well as with histories of addiction and alternative lifestyles. I have experience working with adolescents, adults, couples, and older adults. I have a background in addiction beginning many years before I obtained my Master’s degree in counseling. I offer EMDR therapy to treat everything from addiction to PTSD.
