I have seen that often times due to adverse experiences in childhood and/or adulthood we sometimes struggle in knowing how to tolerate and accept difficult feelings without shame and judgment. I am passionate about helping clients find their creative abilities and potential and incorporating it into the healing process. I utilize a relational (and eclectic) approach to understanding the self in order to promote lifelong learning, growth, and healing. I have worked with clients who are dealing with grief and loss, depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship issues to name a few. I have completed Gottman Method Couples Therapy training through Level 3. I also incorporate the work of Dr. Sue Johnson/Emotion Focused Therapy. I am trained in EMDR and find it a powerful therapy for many issues.
