Therapist Overview

I use cognitive, insight-oriented, self system, and affirming procedures in the therapeutic relationship. I treat children, parent-child dyads, teenagers, and adults at all stages of life. I have been in private practice in Madison County since 1995. My previous experience includes working in residential treatment facilities and camps, schools, private sector, and teaching undergraduate psychology. I work with a therapy dog. She is often in session and helps many relax. Presently, I am training a new Airedale pup named Lizzie whose sweet nature holds much promise. However, in the event she causes anxiety she can stay out of the session.
