Therapist Overview
Adulting is hard. Amiright? Growing up is a battle, and most of the battles we’re facing aren’t even connected to school, debt, careers, bills, etc. Maybe you’re attempting to reconcile the hurt child inside of you with the person you’re trying to become today, and it feels like trying to exist inside of a hurricane. Maybe you feel the heartbreak of loneliness as friends have moved away, and the newly married ones have disappeared completely. Maybe a lack of boundaries with family causes daily stress and conflict. Perhaps your current relationship feels unstable and your partner uses words like “clingy” or “needy” to describe you. I help people navigate through these issues at whatever age because we’re vulnerable to them at any stage in life. “Growing up” is not an event but a lifelong process. I see true maturity as emotional self-regulation, self-awareness, self-compassion, healthy boundaries, and emotional security in one’s self. I will assist you in developing these attributes. Come individually or with your partner. I am a relationally trained therapist who’s ready to help you wherever you happen to find yourself. Visit my website and familiarize yourself with who I am, as trust and rapport with your therapist is as vital as the work you are going to do. If you think I’m what you’ve been looking for, give me a call and let’s chat.
