Therapist Overview
The clients I enjoy working with most are the ones who feel like they keep going in circles and aren’t getting anywhere. I enjoy working with clients who are unsure about going to therapy, or who haven’t had the best experiences in the past. Maybe they’re nervous I’ll side with their spouse. Maybe they’re worried all we’ll do is talk about what’s wrong. I get how uncomfortable coming into therapy can be. The best part of my job is discovering the unique stories of each person who comes into my office, then developing a relationship to support their progress to the next part of their lives. Most of my experience is with couples, as well as adolescents. I am Level 2 Gottman Method trained, as well as training in play therapy and sandplay (both of which come in handy with couples!). Sometimes I use art therapy, dialectical behavior therapy concepts, and narrative therapy to fit the needs of my clients. My approach comes from a place of unconditional positive regard (meaning no shaming or
