It’s when those symptoms go into overdrive that we begin to feel lost and isolated, and that ends up affecting how we are and how we act in the world. When our fears, secrets, and distress build up over time and we have no outlet to let them out and begin to face them, those feelings become overwhelming and eventually, leave us feeling isolated, fed up, anxious, and drained.
