My approach to counseling is a blend of theoretical concepts aimed at resolving conflicts and refining the necessary skills to meet life’s challenges. I have provided counseling services to adults, adolescents and children since 2003. I earned my M.A. in counseling psychology from the University of West Georgia in 2002 following a 9-month internship at the Georgia Tech Student Counseling Center. I have extensive training and experience treating Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, Trauma, and ADHD. I am also certified to provide Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), an empirically-validated type of therapy designed to work with treatment-resistant trauma, depression, and anxiety.
