Therapist Overview

I specialize with individuals suffering from trauma which could be anything from: domestic violence survivors, sexual assault survivors, childhood trauma, refugees, chronic illness, self-worth issues, bullying, and adjusting issues. I have also worked with combat vets who may have some PTSD issues stemming from Islamophobia. I also specialize in multicultural issues such as micro aggressions, discrimination, internalized oppression, and cultural/religious oppression. I believe suffering is inevitable but healing is always possible. I encourage my clients to confront their pain so that they can learn to live more fulfilling lives. I utilize a trauma-informed/spiritual approach in my practice. I am a trauma therapist and I am trained in EMDR. I meet my clients where they are at by providing a safe environment. I believe therapy is a place to learn tools you can use in your life to help ground you and access your full potential. I was born/raised in Utah but my parents immigrated from Pak
