Therapist Overview
Our lives–and the lives of our loved ones–are so often challenged by issues such as anxiety, depression, addiction, anger, loss or grief. And we are often so pressured by the demands of every day life that we struggle simply to get through each day. While our relationships with others are usually our greatest sources of love and support, they are often the sources of our deepest pain. Through the process of therapy, we find the opportunity to look inward, heal emotional wounds and find healthier ways of being in relationship with oneself and others. By better understanding how we engage in such relationships through deep-seated or unconscious habits, I work with clients to improve the quality of their relationships and thus their lives. In this therapeutic partnership, I take a holistic perspective, considering the many ways in which the mind, body and spirit may be impacting one’s quality of life. My theoretical orientation is rooted in humanistic, attachment and psychodynamic principles. I believe in the client’s inner wisdom and vast potential for self-understanding and self-directed growth. My manner is warm, gentle, intuitive and collaborative. I invite you to reach out for a free 20-min consultation. I look forward to hearing from you!
